The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) has released its week 5 poll, with Big Ten stalwarts Nebraska, Minnesota and Wisconsin remaining in the top 3 slots.
Nebraska has been ranked #1 every week so far, and is now officially the only undefeated team in the top 25 after Washington took a tough loss to in-state rivals Washington State last Wednesday.
The Huskers swept all first-place votes, just as they have every week so far this season.
The Gophers and Badgers remain unchanged, each sitting at 10-1. The two will meet up in just a few weeks, on October 12.
Washington was previously ranked at 4, but fell to then-unranked Washington State 1-3. Washington State has resultingly vaulted to 17th in this week’s poll, and Texas (#4) and Florida (#5) have each moved up a spot to round out the top 5.
