North Dakota State Lands Class of 2020 DS/L Taylor Quan

Class of 2020 recruit Taylor Quan has committed to the North Dakota State University women’s volleyball program. A 5’7″ defensive specialist and libero, Quan will join the program as a freshman for the fall of 2020 season.

A sophomore at Osseo High School in Minnesota, Quan helped her team to a 15-9 season. Individually she posted 442 digs (5.6 per set), 58 assists (0.7 per set) and 17 aces (0.2 per set) while holding a .892 serve reception percentage according to Minnesota Volleyball Hub.

On the club circuit, Quan plays with Minnesota Select Volleyball and recently the 15-1s team. She was also part of the 2017 USA Girls’ Select National A2 Invitational Team Program. Quan’s Hudl profile with video of her play can be seen here.

Quan now joins OH/DS/L Alison Hinze as a class of 2020 commit for North Dakota State that has been registered in the VolleyMob Recruiting Database. The pair are actually teammates as well in club volleyball, which will now continue on to college.

The Bison of North Dakota State are coming off of a 19-9 season in which they went 9-5 playing in the Summit League. Of the three defensive specialists/liberos currently on their 2018 roster, one would be set to graduate prior to 2020 when Quan arrives.
