Northwestern Lands Class of 2021 DS/L Ellee Stinson

Class of 2021 defensive specialist/libero Ellee Stinson has verbally committed to Northwestern University’s women’s volleyball program.

A sophomore-to-be in the fall, the 5’3″ Stinson attends Yorktown High School in Indiana. Her most recent season as a freshman came on a 36-3 team that went to the Semi-State Championships in the Class 4A IHSAA Volleyball State Tournament.

Individually in her first year of varsity as a DS/OH, Stinson logged 171 digs (2.2 per set), 17 aces (0.2 per set), nine kills (0.1 per set) on a .250 mark and five assists according to her MaxPreps profile.

On the club circuit, Stinson plays with Munciana Volleyball and the 150 LORAX team. Her recruiting profile with video highlights of her 2017 season can be seen here.

It’s the first class of 2021 recruit for Northwestern that has been registered in the VolleyMob Recruiting Database. One year earlier though brings on class of 2020 setter Alexa Rousseau to the program.

Northwestern is coming off of a 14-18 season in 2017 in which they finished 4-16 as a member of the Big Ten.
