Polish Women: Rzeszow Remains Unbeaten After Tough Five-Setter

Four team’s remain unbeaten in the women’s Polish League so far this season – Grot Budowlani Lodz, Chemik Police, LKS Commercecon Lodz and Developres SkyRes Rzeszow.

POLI Budowlani Tourn turned things around with a win against Trefl Proxima Krakow in a tight five-setter. LKS Commercecon Lodz was the only team to take down their opponent in straight sets this week. Chemik Police had been holding strong the first two weeks, not dropping a set but Polski Cukier Muszynianka Muszyna took the first set of the squad’s match over the top team in the league.

Grot Budowlani Lodz continues their perfect run in the Polish women’s league with a four-set win over KSZO Ostroviec Swietokrzyski. Koleta Lyszkiewicz led the team with 20 points in the win while Anna Miros added in another 13. Developres SkyRes Rzeszow held on narrowly to their undefeated weekend with two players recording 2o or more points – Helene Rousseaux (21) and Adela Helic (20).

Chemik Police is the final team to remain perfect in the league thus far. In the four-set win over Polski Cukier Muszynianka Muszyna Katarzyna Zaroslinska led the charge with 23 points while Stefana Veljkovic and Malwina Smarzek added another 16 and 13 points, respectively.
