A pair of sisters, Angelina Ferary and Bella Ferary, have committed to the Georgia State beach volleyball program. The duo are part of the class of 2020, meaning their freshman season would come in the spring of 2021.
Both attend Mount Paran Christian in Kennesaw, Georgia and are juniors on the indoor varsity team. It’s the second varsity year for both, with the team going 39-8 in 2017 and 36-3 so far this season.
At 5’6″, Angelina or Angel, plays OH/DS/L and has 136 kills (1.6 per set), 299 digs (3.5 per set), 35 aces (0.4 per set), 18 assists (0.2 per set) and 15 blocks (0.2 per set) so far this season per her MaxPreps page.
Isabella on the other hand, or Bella, is 5’6″ and plays S/DS/RS and has notched 509 assists (5.2 per set), 243 digs (2.5 per set), 87 kills (0.9 per set), 66 aces (0.7 per set) and 8 blocks (0.1 per set) per her profile.
They also are part of S3 Volleyball (Southern Select Sand Volleyball), which notes the individual accolades for both. Bella, who owns a 31 inch vertical, can be seen here, with Angelina’s profile noting a 30 inch vertical seen here.
Playing with each other in the sand at the SouthEast BNQ USA this past summer, they earned a fifth place finish in the 18U classification. They also won the SpikeTown ROX for 18U and have each racked up several high placing conclusions with other partners as well. Georgia State Beach went 24-12 for the 2018 season in which they finished the year ranked 11th in the AVCA Coaches Poll.
