Week seven of the regular season came to a close as Zoe Hill (Kansas) and Katie Clark (TCU) were selected as recipients of the Big 12 weekly awards.
Hill, the Defensive Player of the Week honoree, tallied 17 total blocks, the most by any player in the Big 12 on the week. The junior registered a career-high 11 blocks against West Virginia, including 10 in the final three sets of the match to help Kansas erase a 2-0 deficit for the win. Currently, she ranks second in conference play in blocks per set (1.61) and 27th in the nation in total blocks (84).
Clark, both Offensive Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week, earned double-digit kills for the first time this season in back-to-back matches on her way to being the first dual honoree of the season. The freshman out of Arlington, Texas, is the only player in the Conference to tally over a .400 hitting clip against Texas in league play (min. 15 kills). She capped off the week ranked second in the league in hitting percentage (.359).

This week’s honors mark the second all-time for Hill and the first for Clark.
