The Texas Longhorn seniors tapped into their musical side to make a senior night rap along with a stellar music video to accompany. The seniors sported Jerritt Elliott t-shirt in portions of the video along with their warm-up gear while showing off their volleyball skills and some insight into the program.

The Longhorns have four seniors – Ebony Nwanebu, Cat McCoy, Mirta Baselovic and Chiaka Ogbogu.

Nwanebu has been a steady fixture on the Longhorns squad this season, producing 176 kills on a .338 hitting clip along with 66 blocks. This season has been a bit of a down year for the senior, as she has not been the leading scorer or star out on the court all of the time but has been that go-to player that will help the team in a pinch.

McCoy has been the team’s strong-hold libero over the season, picking up 400 digs on the year, with her season-best coming against Kansas State with 25. Baselovic has only seen action in one match this season, as she put down a kill against Oklahoma on senior night.

Ogbogu returned to the court this season better than ever, recording 230 kills on the year with a .389 hitting performance along with 160 blocks on the year. Recently, Ogbogu was named the Big 12 Player of the Year for her dominance on the Longhorn court.

The Longhorns earned the #6 seed in the tournament, despite winning the Big 12 title with an undefeated record in conference play. Their first-round match will be against Fairfield on December 1.
