Thomas More College in Kentucky has announced their intentions to add a men’s volleyball program starting in the fall of 2018. That would allow the team to participate in the 2019 season as they will join NCAA Division III classification as the 100th team.

Of course, to comply with Title IX scholarship regulations, Thomas More College is also tacking on a women’s swimming & diving team beginning in the fall of 2018 as well.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to add men’s volleyball and men’s and women’s swimming & diving here at Thomas More College,” Athletic Director Terry Connor said in the school’s release of the news. “I am excited for the challenge of starting the new programs and to see what they can accomplish in the future.”

On the Women’s side and in many other sports, Thomas More College plays in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference. However, they do not have a men’s volleyball league, so it’s unclear at this moment what conference they will be a part of.
