VolleyMob Player of the Week: Brenden Sander, BYU

BYU’s Brenden Sander dropped nearly 50 points on opponents through a strong hitting effort and tough serve last week en route to VolleyMob Player of the Week honors.

Sander averaged 4.75 kills, 1.63 digs and 1.00 aces per set in four-set wins over UC San Diego and USC, garnering MPSF Offensive Player of the Week nods. The senior outside hitter notched a 15-kill, 11-dig double-double to go with a season-high four blocks, three aces and a .419 hitting effort against UCSD on Thursday. The Huntington Beach, California, native tallied a career-high 23 kills, a career-best five aces and two digs against USC on Saturday.
