Veronica Angeloni has made her way to MyCicero Volley Pesaro in the Italian Serie A1 Women’s League in time for the season finale. Angeloni comes back to Italy after playing in the Indonesian League this season.

Pesaro was able to secure the #7 seed in the Italian League playoffs this year with a 10-12 record overall. With that, the team will have to face off against #2 seeded Savino Del Bene Scandicci who finished the year 18-4. The last time the two teams met in the regular season, Scandicci swept through Pesaro 3-0, (25-20, 25-13, 25-13).

Angeloni signed with the team on March 9 and sat out in the team’s following day match against Imoco Volley Conegliano to end the regular season. Imoco finished the season in third place, making the win an upset in the league as Pesaro sits back in 7th place.

Pesaro will look to find a spot for Angeloni in the lineup come the quarterfinals stage of the league’s playoffs that will begin on March 18.
