The final day of the 2017 USA Girls’ 18s Junior National Championships has begun, with the top teams in each division squaring off for the national title match.
The matches begin at 8AM with the finals taking place in the early to mid-afternoon.
Open Division
There are eight teams that advanced to the Open Division gold bracket.
Matches:
- A4 Volley 18-Purple vs. KC Power 18-1
- Sky High-Adidas 18 Black vs. Rockwood Thunder 18 Mizuno
- Tstreet 18-Troy vs. MEVBA 18 Mizuno
- TAV 18 Black vs. Top Select 18 Elite Blake
Only one team remains unbeaten entering the final day, Sky High 18 Black, rolling to six straight wins on their quest to a national title.
National Division
In an eight team gold bracket, the National Division has set it’s final teams competing for the national title.
Matches:
- Topeka Impact 18-1 vs. TX Tornados 18 Mizuno
- Absolute Black 18-1 vs. IPVA 18 Black
- Temecula Viper 18 Rafu vs. Asics Louisiana 18
- Rolling Thunder 18 Blue vs. 1st Alliance 18 Silver.
Tx Tornados, IPVA and Asics Louisiana all remain untouched this tournament with perfect records.
USA Division
The eight team gold bracket has been set at the USA Division, with matches starting at 9AM.
Matches:
- Alamo 18 Premier vs. SG Elite 18 Roshambo
- SA Force 182 National vs. AJV 18 Mizuno
- Ignite 18 Elite vs. Sunshine 18 Westside
- Madfrog 18’s N Blue vs. AP 18 Asics
Coming into the gold bracket Alamo, SA Force, AJV, Ignite and Sunshine maintained perfect records of 6-0.
American Division
The final eight teams in the American Division are ready to square off with matches starting bright at early at 8AM.
Matches:
- Arsenal 18 Gold vs. Goldenwest 18 Asics
- Valley Venom 181 Red vs. CVC 18 Black
- Legacy 18 North vs. Xceleration Blue 18-1
- Rage 18 Greg vs. Tcaoh 18-1
Arsenal, Goldenwest and CVC enter the gold bracket as the only undefeated teams in their division.
Patriot Division
12 teams are vying for their spot at the national title in the Patriot Division, with four teams earning a bye in the first round of the gold bracket.
Matches:
- Game 1: Club One AZ 18 Gold vs. FRVBC 18 Black
- Game 2: Miz LB 18 Rockstar vs. GCVA 181 Coast
- Game 3: The Diff 18 Black vs. Coast 18-2
- Game 4: West 18 Elite vs. Knights 18 National Black
The teams that earned a bye are – LAVA West 18 Adidas who will face the winner of Game 1, SoCal VBC 18 Andrea who will take on the winner of Game 2, Motion Volleyball 18 BLU taking on the winner of Game 3 and Digs 18-1 who will face the winner of Game 4.
