A new format was introduced at the FIVB Kish Island 3-Star tournament this week – a single elimination only format.
Some of the athletes that participated in the contest have shared their opinions on the new tournament format. Many of the players expressed liking the new format as it was a new feel and it made them give it their all from the beginning. However, some expressed concern or dislike of the rule because they would arrive at the tournament, pick up an unlike, difficult first round draw and then you are done.
