Top-ranked BYU notched its second-straight West Coast Conference sweep with a win over Saint Mary’s Saturday afternoon. The Cougars remain perfect on the season, 12-0, and have hit above .500 in both conference matches thus far (.507 vs. Pacific; .531 vs. Saint Mary’s).

Roni Jones-Perry registered team-high 12 kills and hit .786 (12-1-14) to lead the Cougars to victory. Lyndie Haddock-Eppich dished out 24 assists, Kennedy Eschenberg tallied a career-high 11 blocks and Mary Lake recorded 6 digs.
Lindsey Calvin led Saint Mary’s with 7 kills, Alexsa Parker notched 15 assists and Lindsey Knudsen and Emily Bible each tallied 5 digs.
Loyola Marymount def. RV Portland 3-2 (25-22, 25-16, 22-25, 22-25, 15-13)

Loyola Marymount outlasted RV Portland in 5 sets to hand the Pilots their second-straight loss. The Lions used a .306 attack percentage to earn the win and even their conference record, 1-1.

With a 12-2 start, LMU is off to its best start since opening the 2014 season with a 13-1 record.
Bo Culo led the Lions with a career-high 25 kills and 10 digs for her first career double-double. Savannah Slattery (17) and Emma Johnson (12) joined her with double-figure kill totals. Tess Reid notched 59 assists, while Kekai Whitford logged 15 digs.
Izzy Guzik (20 kills, .405 attack percentage) and Shayla Hoeft (13 kills, .435 attack percentage) each hit over .400 for the Pilots. Cali Thompson dished out 40 assists and Carey Williams tallied 19 digs.
RV San Diego def. Pacific 3-0 (25-17, 25-22, 25-19)

Lauren Fuller (13 kills, .393 attack percentage) and Addie Picha (10 kills, .471 attack percentage) paced San Diego offensively. Anna Newsome dished out 23 assists, Payton Douglass logged 19 digs and Megan Jacobson posted 5 blocks.
Kaitlyn Lanes(13) and Riley Ramsey (11) contributed double figure kill totals for Pacific, while Gabby Leo tallied a double-double with 27 assists and 10 digs. Jadyn Tubbs notched 15 digs.
Pepperdine def. Gonzaga 3-1 (17-25, 25-15, 25-19, 25-18)

Hannah Frohling (13 kills) and Rachel Ahrens (10 kills) each reached double figures offensively, while Blossom Sato distributed 36 assists for Pepperdine. Alli O’Harra notched a career-high 10 blocks, while Shannon Scully posted 13 digs.
Sarah Penner (15 kills, 11 digs) and Faith Smith (18 assists, 12 digs) recorded double-doubles for Gonzaga, while Tiyana Hallums logged 21 digs.
