Top-ranked USC extended their winning streak to 60 consecutive victories on Saturday, beating Cal Poly and then #2 UCLA. The 60th win, and win over the #2 team in the country, was USC’s senior game – their last home event where they recognized the Trojan seniors.

Elsewhere in Pac-12 play, Arizona swept Cal 5-0, and Arizona State beat Stanford by the same margin.

That win by Arizona State is the first sweep of a Pac-12 opponents in program history.

“Beach volleyball venues have such individual character depending on the climate and sand depth, and it’s important that our players have a much better understanding heading into the conference championships next week,” said Fuller. “It was a really valuable weekend for the team to compete in the heat of Arizona and gain some familiarity with the facilities for the Pac-12 Championships. Both Arizona and Arizona State played well and we’re excited to carry the experience into next week.”

Washington gave the conference another sweep with a 5-0 win over Boise State. The Huskies’ indoor stars, Crissy Jones and Tia Scambray, won their penultimate regular-season match of the season. That moves the pair to 9-1 on the season as the school’s #1 pair.
