11 USA Division Teams Undefeated On Day 1 Of Junior Nationals

2017 USA GIRLS’ 18S JUNIOR NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

The first day of the USA Division of the 2017 USA Girls’ 18s Junior National Championships has concluded, with the final batch of matches to be played tomorrow morning before each of the teams is reseeded into new pools.

Below are the results of each of the eight pools with the pools finishing play tomorrow morning.

Pool 1

At the end of the first day, Alamo 18 Premier barely leads the Pool 1 pack as they have a 1.3947 to 1.3860 point differently ratio to the other undefeated team in the pool, Rockwood Thunder 18 Navy.

Tstreet 18-Randy went 2-1 on the day with Slainte Black 18-1 ending the day 1-2. IFJ 18 Chantal and ProLink 18 Chris each went 0-3 on the day not winning a single set.

Pool 2

Two teams managed to go undefeated on the first day of play – OP2 18-1 EP and GA5 18-April. OP2 leads slighting with a 1.4554 to 1.3761 point ratio differential.

AP 18 Asics ended the day 2-1, while IL HPSTL 18 Select went 2-1. EC Power 18-Diamond and VolleyFX 18 Magic each concluded the first day with an 0-3 record.

Just one squad from pool 3 remained unbeaten on the first day – Ignite 18 Elite. Three teams took a record of 2-1 – Club H 18 – Adidas, TVC 18-1 and Team Colorado 18N.

ACE 18 Under Armour and YMCA PK/Star Aquila 18-1 each ended the day with 0-3 records.

Oscala Power United 18 Rox and AJV 18 Mizuno each remain undefeated after the first day of play.

Bakersfield 18-Judy went 2-1 while Invasion 18 Blue ended 1-2. Each Rocky Select 18 Black and Yorktowne 18 Open Blue concluded the first day of play with 0-3 records.

Pool 5 is lead by SA Force 182 National with a 3-0 record after the first day of play. OT 18 T. Rox Red and Spiral 18 Under Armour each went 2-1 on the day while Shockwave U18 National and SVVC 18-Rich ended the day 1-2.

The lone 0-3 record fell to Marin Jrs Black 18-1.

Staying undefeated after the first day of play in pool 6 is HJV 18 Elite and Sunshine 18 Westside while Renaissance 18 Black dropped just one match to end the day 2-1.

Top Select 18 Elite Amanda concluded the day with a 1-2 record while Vision 18 Blue and Invasion 18-Black ended with 0-3 records.

Pool 7

No team from pool 7 will come out of the tournament with an unblemished record after all teams dropped at least one match. There are also no teams that will go without a single win either, as each team won one match or more.

SG Elite 18 Roshambo, Madforg 18’s N Blue and CVA Colorado 18 Roshambo all ended the day 2-1. Iowa Rockets 18R, Cobb Atlanta 18-1 Karlyn and City Beach Black 18-1 all ended with a 1-2 record.

Tsunami 18-KJ S181E took the top position in pool 8 with a 3-0 start. Two teams finished the day 2-1 – SA Magic 18 Elite and Michio Chicago 18 Natl.

SSVC 18 Mizuno and Nola 18 Kevin each ended with 1-2 records while No Name VBC 18 fell to an 0-3 record for the day.
