The draw for the 2017 CEV U18 Women’s Volleyball European Championships that will take place from April 1-3, 2017 has been set. The competition is set to be played in Arnhem in the Netherlands.

The first round, leading up the finals, was held back in October 2016, which led up to the second round which concluded a month ago in January. In the second round 24 teams competed for a spot in the finals; however, only the top 11 finishers moved on.

In the second round, the top team of each of the six pools moved on, which were Serbia, Belarus, Turkey, Poland, Bulgaria and Greece. All of the teams, except for Greece, posted perfect records in their pools. The second place teams that posted enough points to qualify were Romania, Italy and Slovenia. As the host, the Netherlands did not have to compete in the competition and had an automatic bid into the tournament.

The finals draw for the U18 Women’s European Championships are:

Pool I – Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, Russia, the Netherlands, Turkey

Pool II – Belarus, Greece, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia
