This year sought out high school volleyballers are getting ready to begin their freshmen season of college. From women’s to men’s there are a number of great recruiting classes that will emerge in the 2017-18 season.

From the information that we at VolleyMob have gathered, on the women’s side of recruiting, Texas has a pretty solid freshman class coming in for 2017. Of the three, Lexi Sun, an outside hitter from California, was named as the Gatorade National Player of the Year, also being tabbed the top recruit in the country. They also add in Brionne Butler as a middle blocker and Ashley Shook as setter.

On the men’s side, both Ohio State and USC are bringing in high-level freshmen recruits to help bolster their 2018 season and help build off what they lost after the 2017 season. Ohio State repeated as national champions in 2017 and will bring in two recruits to help them contend for a three-peat.

Of course, we know we missed some recruits along the way, so if you have a commitment or transfer to report, please send an email with a photo (landscape, or horizontal, looks best) and a quote to [email protected]
