Creighton/Nebraska Crowd is Largest Ever for Volleyball Only Regular Season Event

A record 14,022 fans saw the match live in Omaha as Nebraska rallied from two sets down to defeat Creighton in five sets.
The crowd was the largest ever to see a regular season NCAA volleyball match, when not combined with another sporting event.

Texas Transfer Lexi Sun Still Awaiting Her Nebraska Debut

Lexi Sun, the All-Big 12 transfer from Texas, watched from the sidelines in uniform as Nebraska rallied past Creighton. She has yet to make her debut for the Huskers in 2018 due to injury.

Brazilian pair Pedro Solberg/Bruno Schmidt, which has its sights set on qualifying for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, have enlisted the help of a coach who has been there before, Leticia Pessoa. Pessoa has coached her previous charges to three Olympic silver medals.
