Class of 2020 recruit Gabby Wilson has verbally committed to the Air Force women’s volleyball team. A 5’10” outside hitter, Wilson would join the program with her freshman season coming in the fall of 2020.
Come the fall, Wilson will be a junior at the high school level. This past year as a sophomore though at Pine Creek High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Wilson appeared in 81 sets. According to her MaxPreps profile, she logged 128 kills (1.6 per set) on a .141 hitting percentage, 139 digs (1.7 per set), 25 blocks (0.3 per set) and 14 aces (0.2 per set).
Wilson also plays with the Colorado Juniors Volleyball Club and the 16Ashley team. On her club’s page, she is listed as being able to touch a max of 9’5″ on her vertical leap in attack.
Air Force finished off the 2017 season at 14-18 overall and 7-11 as a member of the Mountain West Conference.
