#5 LBSU had no troubles running through their opponents during a mid-week matchup, sweeping both Oregon and #19 Saint Mary’s.
The win’s over the two squads improves the Beaches winning streak to 12 matches heading into the Big West Challenge that will take place this weekend. Just one game extended into a third set, as Sasha Karelov/Megan Kruidhof downed Saint Mary’s Payton Rund/Morgan Hughes 2-1, (19-21, 21-19, 17-15).
For Loyola Marymount, the team ran through CSUN in a 4-1 decision with their only loss of the night coming at the #2 position. The Lions will return to the court to host their final match of the year on Thursday as they welcome in Concordia, followed by matches against Saint Mary’s and Vanguard
