6’1″ Middle Blocker Rebecca Rendahl (c/o 2018) Commits to Minnesota

Murietta Valley High School junior Rebecca Rendahl will leave sunny southern California for the frigid winters of Minneapolis in 2018. She’s verbally committed to play collegiately at the University of Minnesota.

Rendahl is a 6’1″ middle blocker that had 234 kills in 81 sets during the 2016 high school season. She hit .311 and had 69 total blocks last season as well. While not huge for a middle blocker at this level, she’s got similar size to Minnesota’s recently-graduated All-American twins Paige and Hannah Tapp, who were listed at 6’1 and 6’2, respectively, out of the middle.

Rendahl plays for the Forza1 Volleyball Club. She joins a clas that includes 6’0 outside hitter Adanna Rollins, 5’9 libero CC McGraw, and 5’9″ setter Bailey McMenimen.
