KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Rachel Gregg of Lewis-Clark State (Idaho) has been named the NAIA National Women’s Volleyball Attacker of the Week, Alexandra Reid of Sterling (Kan.) has been named the NAIA National Women’s Volleyball Defender of the Week and Morgan Berry of Ottawa (Kan.) has been named the NAIA National Volleyball Setter of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday.
The trio was selected based on their performances from Sept. 3 – 9 and was chosen out of a pool of conference and Association of Independent Institution winners.
Attacker of the Week
Rachel Gregg, Lewis-Clark State
6-0, SR, OH, Eagle River, Alaska
- Gregg led her team to a 3-0 week that extended the Warriors win streak to seven. The senior set a new career-high of 20 kills against Medicine Hat College (Alaska). She also recorded a double-double in each of the three contests this week: Mayville State (N.D.) 13 kills, 12 digs; No. 17 Embry-Riddle (Ariz.) 18 kills, 10 digs; Medicine Hat 20 kills, 12 digs.

- Berry recorded 32 assists and up in four matches during the Baker Invitational and posted two double-doubles against Haskell (Kan.) (32 assists, 10 digs) and RV Baker (Kan.) (67 assists, 20 digs). The Kansas native notched a new career high of 69 assists and 20 digs against Baker.
