Offensive Player of the Week
Cassie Knutson, S/RS, Sr., 5-10, San Diego, Calif. – Eastern Kentucky
Knutson recorded 43 kills and a .302 hitting percentage as Eastern Kentucky went 2-0 last week. She recorded a double-double against Tennessee Tech with 22 kills and 12 digs. She followed that up with 21 kills versus JSU. For the week, Knutson had 10 assists and six blocks.

Defensive Player of the Week
Ginny Gerig, L, Jr., 5-5, Towanda, Ill. – Austin Peay
Gerig recorded 43 digs as Austin Peay went 2-0 last week. She had 23 digs against Southeast Missouri, including 10 in the first set. She followed that with 20 digs against UT Martin. Gerig also had eight assists and three service aces during the weekend.
Another week means more 🏅 for the Govs as @ginnygerig is named the @OVCSports Defensive Player of the Week.
She averaged 6.14 digs per set and opponents hit just .177 against the Govs last week.

Setter of the Week
Chandler Clark, S, R-So., 5-9, Seymour, Ind. – Morehead State
Clark dished out 100 assists over the weekend as Morehead State went 2-0. She helped the Eagles hit .253 as a team. She had a career-high 60 assists to go with 12 digs against Jacksonville State. It was her sixth double-double of the season. She had 40 assists in the three-set match with Tennessee Tech. For the week, she had five kills, 21 digs and five blocks.

JoJo Kruize, OH, Jr., 5-11, Honolulu, Hawaii – Tennessee State
Kruize recorded 24 kills, a .302 hitting percentage, four digs and four blocks as Tennessee State went 2-0. She had 15 kills and a .333 hitting percentage against Eastern Illinois. She also had three block assists against the Panthers. In the win over Belmont, she had nine kills, a .261 hitting percentage and one solo blocks.
