The USC men’s volleyball team (2-7 overall, 1-5 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation), looking to snap a 5-match losing skid, concludes its 5-match road trip when it visits No. 7 UC Irvine (7-3, 4-2) on Friday (Feb. 3), then the Trojans return home to host UC San Diego (2-5, 0-4) on Friday (Feb. 4). Both MPSF matches begin at 7 p.m. PT. At that UCSD match, USC will celebrate the 40th anniversary of its first NCAA title in men’s volleyball, with 1977 squad members honored on the court prior to the contest.
