American Tori Dixon Makes Return After Injury To Monza In Italy

After missing the 2016-17 season due to an ACL tear in January 2016, Tori Dixon of the United States will make her return to the club volleyball court with Saugella Team Monza for the 2017-18 season.

In the 2015-16 season, Dixon was with Torray Arrows in Japan.

Recently, Dixon made her return to the court after the injury with the U.S. National Team in the team’s first Red-Blue scrimmage. Prior to her injury, Dixon was tabbed the “Best Blocker” at the FIVB World Cup in the 2015 season. In 2016, she was also named the “Best Blocker” at the NORCECA Olympic Qualification Tournament.

Dixon concluded her collegiate career with the University of Minnesota, where she was named to the AVCA All-American First Team as a senior in 2013, while also being selected as a Second-Team honoree in 2012.
