Amy Boswell Headlines The 2016 CoSIDA Academic All-America Team

Earning the CoSIDA Academic All-America of the Year is Amy Boswell of Brigham Young University.

Boswell is a nursing major with a 3.90GPA and is a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-America selection, with her first team honors in 2015.

Leading BYU to a 29-3 overall record, Boswell was named to the All-West Coast Conference first team and helped the team reach the NCAA Regional semifinals, where the Cougars will face No. 4 Texas Friday, December 9 at 4 PM ET.

This season, Boswell led the WCC with 1.30 blocks per set, and hit for .392, which ranks second in the league.

Of the 18 members selected to the CoSIDA Academic All-American Division 1 Volleyball teams, 12 have a 3.90 GPA or better, five achieved a 4.0 or greater GPA.
