Bartosz Filipiak Extends Bydgoszcz Contract Another 2 Seasons

Bartosz Filipiak extended his contract with Bydgoszcz Archer for an additional two seasons. In the 2016-17 season, Filipiak was the leader of the team, debuting in the PlusLiga in October of 2016.

After his first match with Bydgoszcz, Filipiak easily won a starting job with the team. Over the past season, Filipiak produced 406 points and the MVP honor.

“It was important for me to stay in Łuczniczka because Bydgoszcz is the place for me, where I grew up and learned the game. I’m staying here for a long time,” said Filipiak.

At the start of his professional career in 2013-14, Filipiak struggled with an injury with Bydgoszcz. The following two seasons he played with Victoria Walbrzych, reaching the championship match in his first season with the team. Following is two seasons at Walbrzych, Filipiak made his return to Bydgoszcz.
