Familiar faces were named to the Big 12 weekly honors as Brooke Kanas (Texas Tech) and Shelly Fanning (Baylor) were selected as honorees for second and third time this season, respectively, while Brianna Kadiku (Oklahoma) earned her first.
Behind a perfect 2-0 weekend, BU’s Fanning (Offensive Player of the Week) recorded an impressive .692 hitting clip during the Bears’ home sweep of KU. This was the fifth time this season that any student-athlete has broken the .600 mark and the second-best percentage overall, behind her own .741 efficiency earlier in the season. She totaled 29 kills on the week on 51 attempts with only three errors.
For the 3⃣rd time this season, Shelly Fanning is the #Big12VB Offensive Player of the Week! 🏐
