In the Chinese men’s and women’s CVL league’s, the teams have made it past the first portion of their season, entering a winners and losers bracket.

Ending the first part of the season in Group 1, Shanghai led the group with a record of 9-1, while in Group 2, Beijing dominated the pack with a 10-0 record.

Entering into the winners bracket Beijing and Shanghai each remain with 4-0 records, with Beijing taking the number one stop with a one point lead over Shanghai. The two teams each have one more match before they meet up for the first time on January 12, 2017.

The last two seasons championships have gone to Shanghai, so their match against Beijing will more than likely secure their place as league champions this season.

In the women’s CVL league, in Group 1 Tianjin went 9-1 in the regular season, while Zheijang went 10-0 in Group 2.

After the first four matches of the winner’s bracket, Jiangsu has taken the lead at 4-0 over Zheijang (second) and Tianjin (third). Jiangsu will face Tianjin in their next match on January 7, 2017.

The winner of last year’s league was Tianjin, who is fighting to stay in the top three.
