Class of 2018 middle blocker/right side Jon Igo has committed to the Limestone College Men’s Volleyball program. A 6’7″ senior, Igo will join the team in the offseason in preparation for the 2019 season.

A native of Arizona, Igo attends Sunrise Mountain High School. He will be the team captain this season – starting on February 27 – as a fourth year varsity player after he earned local recognition in his previous years. According to his MaxPreps profile, he totaled 220 kills (2.4 per set) on a .358 mark, 65 blocks (0.7 per set) and 62 digs (0.7 per set) as a junior in 2017. He had similar numbers as a sophomore in 2016.

On the club side of things, Igo plays with Arizona Fear Volleyball Club – specifically the 18 JB team.

Playing in the Conference Carolinas, Limestone is in the midst of a 4-12 (2-6 Conf. Carolinas) season thus far after they went 13-11 (12-6) in 2017. Between the middle blocker and right side position they have four players who are all freshmen that will likely join Igo come 2019.
