Providence College has earned a commitment from Addison ‘Addy’ Witte, a class of 2019 recruit. Witte joins two other class of 2019 commits for Providence listed in the VolleyMob Recruiting Database in outside hitters/right sides Emma Nelson and Sydney Taylor.
A 6’1″ pin player who can play some middle blocker, Witte is a junior at St. Dominic High School in O’Fallon, Missouri. This past season she helped push the team to a 21-8-3 season.
On the club circuit, Witte plays with High Performance STL and the 17 Royal team. She owns a 7’9″ standing reach and a 9’10” approach jump. Video of her play can be seen below via her club’s YouTube channel:
Providence finished the 2017 season at 17-16 overall and 6-12 in the Big East. They had four outside hitters on that roster – all of which are on pace to return in terms of eligibility remaining – although one will graduate following 2018 and three will be on their last year in 2019 with the Friars welcome a host of new pin players.
