Class of 2019 recruit Maddie Parmelly has committed to the Florida Gulf Coast beach volleyball team for the spring of 2020 season. Parmelly is a 5’10” outside hitter indoors, as she will be a versatile piece for the Eagles.
A junior at Rockwall-Heath High School in Rockwall, Texas, Parmelly plays with her indoor team as a six-rotation pin player. In the sand, she finished ninth at the AAU Junior Olympic Qualifier/FSU Showcase as well as third in both the TCU Showcase and AVPFirst Points Qualifier.
Parmelly was also listed on the 2017 AVCA Phenom List for her play in her prep career.
Florida Gulf Coast beach is currently 4-2 this season after they went 15-9 in 2017. Their recruiting database on VolleyMob shows an affinity already to grab future recruits, as they have four class of 2018 (2019 season) commits – Emma Hansen, Kaylyn Buchanan, Camryn Bossinas, Lexi Fitzpatrick – join Parmelly and one class of 2020 (for 2021 season) recruit – Madie Lichty.
