Class of 2019 setter Brian Voight has committed to the Loyola Chicago men’s volleyball program. A junior in his prep career, Voight will join the Ramblers in the 2019 school year with his first year of play coming in 2020.

Voight stands at 6’5″ and plays the setter position. He attends Homestead High School in Mequon, Wisconsin.

On the club side of things, Voight plays with the very successful Milwaukee Volleyball Club (MVC). Back in 2016, he was a part of the MVC B15 team that finished third in the Boys Junior National Championships and was named to the All-Tournament team. In 2017 with the club, Voight earned All-State Second-Team honors in Wisconsin.

Loyola Chicago is currently in the midst of a 16-4 (6-1 MIVA) season in 2018, as they are ranked sixth this week in the VolleyMob Top 20 Power Rankings. Their 2018 roster consists of three setters – a freshman, sophomore and junior. That means that by the time Voight arrives, one would graduate and the others – led by freshman starter Garrett Zolg – would be a junior and senior.
