Class of 2020 recruit Chloe Joy Rodriguez has verbally committed to the University of Alabama at Birmingham women’s volleyball program. A 6’2″ middle blocker and outside hitter, Rodriguez would join the team for the fall of 2020 in her inaugural season.
An attendee of Gregory Portland High School in Portland, Texas, Rodriguez will be a junior come this fall after recently completing her sophomore year at the school.
Rodriguez also plays with Corpus Christi Force on the club circuit. Video of her play both with club and her high school via her SportsRecruits profile can be seen here.
The Blazers are coming off of an 11-19 season in which they went 4-10 as a member of the Conference USA.
