Colorado sweeps California to win their 22nd match in a season for the first time since 1998 and their 12th Pac-12 match, marking the first time since 2011 that they’ve won more than 11 matches in the Pac-12.

The Buffs led in all statistical categories over the Bears – kills (53-32), aces (3-1), blocks (7-5), assists (48-28) and digs (43-30). They also led Cal to a low .160 hitting percentage while hitting .349 in the win.

Three Colorado players recorded double-digit kills – Frankie Shebby with 17 and eight digs, Alexa Smith with 14 on a .429 hitting clip while Naghede Abu posted 11 kills on a .526 hitting performance. Setter Brynna DeLuzio dished out 44 assists and 14 digs while Gabby Carta-Samuels picked up 11 digs.

For Cal, Preslie Anderson and Carmen Annevelink put down six kills in the loss.
