Dayton senior middle blocker Amber Erhahon and junior libero Margo Wolf were among the best in the Atlantic 10 Conference this week, earning Player and Defensive Player of the Week respectively for their efforts against Xavier and Saint Louis.
Erhahon notched 3.14 kills and 1.57 blocks per set, while hitting at an outstanding .514 clip. In the sweep of Xavier, the Albany, California, native accounted for eight kills, four blocks and two digs. In the four-set win over Saint Louis, the senior tallied her 1,000th career kill, while putting down 14 kills, hitting at a .619 clip and adding seven bloks, three digs and an ace.
For her part, Wolf chipped in 5.57 digs per set in the Flyers’ victories. The Cincinnati, Ohio, native pulled up 20 digs against the Musketeers and followed that with a 19 dig, four ace and two assist effort against SLU.
George Mason setter Emily Konchan pulled down Rookie of the Week honors after dishing out 10.33 assists per set against Davidson and VCU. The Charlotte, North Carolina, native turned in 37 assists, five digs and two aces and helped the team to a .241 hitting effort in the sweep of Davidson. She then notched 25 assists, three digs and an ace in the loss to VCU.
