A one-star FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour event from April 15-16 in Malaysia has been relocated from Selanger to Langkawi.

Langkawi is a part of the 104 islands in the Andaman Sea, which is about 30 kilometers off the mainland coast of northwestern Malaysia. The tournament in Langkawi is just one of seven one-star events that are being held on the tour this calendar year. The first begins with Shepparton from March 3-5 followed by Langkawi. Others include: the Principality of Monaco (June 17-18), Pacific Harbour in Fiji (June 23-24), in Korea – in Daegu (July 14-16), Ulsan (July 20-22) and finally in Agadir, Morocco (July 21-23).
