Fordham’s Kaitlin Morley, McKenna Lahr Earn A-10 POW Accolades

Fordham outside hitter Kaitlin Morley notched 4.43 kills and 2.71 digs per set, while hitting at a .322 clip en route to Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Week honors. The sophomore lifted the Rams to wins over George Mason and George Washington with 31 kills and 19 digs. The Westlake Village, California, native posted 16 kills on a .435 hitting effort, while adding six digs and two aces against GMU. On Sunday, Morley registered a 15-kill, 13-dig double double while hitting .250 and adding three aces.

Dayton junior libero Margo Wolf and VCU senior libero Rebekah Strange were named Co-Defensive Player of the Week.

Wolf recorded 5.14 digs per set as the Flyers topped Duquesne and LaSalle. The Cincinnati, Ohio, native pulled up 19 digs on Friday and added 17 digs on Sunday.

Strange accounted for 6.0 digs per set with a team-high 18 digs in VCU’s sweep of Davidson. The Avon, Indiana, native also chipped in four assists and two aces in the match.

 

Fordham outside hitter McKenna Lahr earned A-10 Freshman of the Week accolades after averaging 4.28 kills and 3.28 digs per set. The Lindenhurst, Illinois, native notched an 11-kill, 15-dig double-double vs. George Mason and tacked on 19-kills, eight digs, five aces and three blocks against GW.
