The SEC honored players from four schools for their Week 3 efforts, including offensive player of the week T’ara Ceasar and setter of the week Meghan Donovan from Georgia.

Offensive Player of the Week

Georgia’s T’ara Ceasar was named the MVP of the Buffs Invitational as she recorded 57 kills and 28 digs over three matches for the Bulldogs. She tied her season high of 22 kills in Georgia’s win over #24 Colorado and recorded her third double-double of the season with 21 kills and 13 digs against Oklahoma.

Co-Defensive Players of the Week

Alabama’s Cidavia Hall was named to the Hampton Inn Bama Bash All-Tournament Team after averaging 1.20 blocks per set in a 3-0 week for the Crimson Tide.

South Carolina’s Mikayla Robinson averaged 1.20 blocks per set in a 4-0 week for the Gamecocks. She earned a spot on the Maryland Invite All-Tournament Team with 16 total blocks during the weekend.

Setter of the Week

Georgia’s Meghan Donovan registered 153 total assists and 11.7 assists per set at the Buffs Invitational. She tied her career high of 56 assists in Georgia’s win over #24 Colorado.

Freshman of the Week

Auburn’s Taylor Rowland earned a spot on the Kansas Invitational All-Tournament Team after averaging 4.50 points and 4.36 kills per set. She posted double-digit kills in all three matches, including a career-high 23 kills in Auburn’s win over Kansas.
