Offensive Player of the Week:

Blake led Texas A&M with a .463 hitting percentage, 3.29 kills, 1.43 blocks and 4.43 points per set as the Aggies went 2-0 on the road last week and extended their winning streak to four matches. Against Ole Miss, she set her season high and tied her career high with 14 kills while hitting .444. Blake took match-high honors in blocks with seven against the Rebels, and took team-high honors in points with 19.5, a half point shy of her career high. In the sweep at Arkansas, she posted had nine kills while hitting .500 and also added two blocks. For the full season, Blake leads the SEC with 1.61 blocks per set and is ninth in the league with a .342 hitting efficiency.
Defensive Player of the Week:
Rhamat Alhassan • Florida Junior • MB • 6-4 • Glenarden, Md.
In Florida’s win at South Carolina, Alhassan tallied a match-high six blocks, which tied the third-best total in a three-set SEC match this season. She also posted a match-high 15 points (10th double-digit outing of the season), 10 kills and a service ace. Alhassan leads the SEC in blocks per set for conference matches (1.47) and ranks second overall (1.40) this season.
Setter of the Week:
Olivia Dailey • Kentucky Sophomore • 5-10 • Trussville, Ala.
Dailey averaged 13.50 assists per set as the Wildcats improved to 6-0 in league play. She started the weekend with 41 assists at Mississippi State, three off the 25-point rally era record for a three-set match. Dailey helped the offense hit .368 as a team and tie a 25-point rally scoring record of 54 kills during a three-set match. She followed that performance with 40 assists against Tennessee while helping the squad hit at a .333 attacking clip. The weekend matches marked her fifth and sixth 40+ assist nights.
Freshman of the Week:
Leah Edmond • Kentucky Freshman • OH • 6-0 • Lexington, Ky.
In two three-set victories, Edmond hit .403 while contributing 5.83 points, 5.50 kills and 1.33 digs per set. She started the weekend by producing 19 kills against Mississippi State (one off her career-high), helping the squad tie a 25-point rally scoring era three-set record of 54 team kills. Edmond also helped out on defense with eight digs and two blocks, including six digs and two blocks in the win over Tennessee.
