2017 FIVB WORLD LEAGUE

Poland and Team USA square off in the final day of the FIVB World Leauge. The winner of the match could mean a number of things for either team, with Poland helping their cause to go to the Final Six, while Team USA is trying for the win to have a shot.

Team USA currently sits at a 3-5 overall record and is ninth in the standings. However, they have 11 points to their name, more than two 4-4 record teams. For Team USA to have a shot at the Final Six, they will need a win, with an additional three points added to their score, along with losses from Belgium, Russia and Iran. The scenario is unlikely that they qualify but it is there if the cards fall in their favor. Taylor Sander has been a strong force for Team USA, putting down 129 points so far in the competition while Ben Patch has added another 126 for the team. Despite having two players rank in the top-five of points scored, they have struggled to win matches in crunch time.

Poland sits in sixth place currently with a 4-4 record. A win will give the Polish side a decent chance at qualifying for the Final Six, in that they have 12 points to their name. Taking down Team USA will take them ahead of Canada, who crept into the fourth place spot in the rankings with a win today, as they both have 12 points to their names. Poland has been led by Dawid Konarski who has produced 117 points in the competition.

Since Poland is playing on their home soil, they are looking to their crowd for support.

Poland and Team USA will stream live at 2:25 PM ET in the U.S. and can be seen live here:
