SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has named its Volleyball Player of the Week for November 7, 2016.
WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – JAMIE LEA, SR., OH – LOYOLA MARYMOUNT
Senior outside hitter Jamie Lea guided Loyola Marymount to a 2-0 week in West Coast Conference play that included road sweeps at Gonzaga and Portland. Lea finished the week with 22 kills (3.67 per set) while committing just one attacking error on 33 swings to manage a .636 hitting percentage.
A force on the Lion block as well, the native of Efland, N.C. contributed a block solo and three block assists (.67 blocks per set). Tied for the team-lead in kills in each of the matches, Lea began her week on Thursday with 11 kills on 13 errorless attacks (.846) at Gonzaga before posting 11 more on 20 swings at Portland (.500).
