After leading Marist volleyball to three straight victories senior Kelsey Ediger was selected Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Player of the Week on Oct. 10.
Ediger posted seven kills and 13 digs in a Marist sweep of Quinnipiac on Oct. 4 and hit .467 in the Red Foxes’ shutout victory at Saint Peter’s on Oct. 7. She had a monster game when Marist came back to defeat Rider in five sets on Oct. 8, diving for 23 digs. Her 22 kills against the Broncs were a season and a match high. In the three road conference clashes Ediger averaged 3.70 kills and 4.10 digs per set.
Marist will return home this weekend with a 6-2 record in MAAC play and overall mark of 9-10. The Red Foxes will host MAAC leader Fairfield on Oct. 14 and battle Quinnipiac on Oct. 15. First serve for both matches is slated for 1 p.m. in McCann Arena.
