Claire Martin, SR, WSU (Bremerton, Wash.)

• Guided Washington State to back-to-back wins over No. 17 Northern Iowa, posting 1.75 blocks per set.
• Contributed 10 blocks in the first win over Northern Iowa on Friday, leading a Cougar blocking effort that finished the match with 17 total blocks, the most since posting 19 total blocks Nov. 11, 2016.
• Became just the second Cougar to record 400 career block assists and moves into second place all-time for WSU with 407 career block assists.
• Recorded four blocks and 10 kills in the second match vs. UNI.
• Second-career Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week honor for Martin and the 32nd all-time honor for Washington State.

Raquel Lazaro, FR, USC (Cordoba, Spain)

• Led the Trojans to a 2-1 record over the weekend at the Bubly Invitational in Gainesville, Fla., and was named to the All-Tournament Team.
• Guided the Trojans to an upset-road win over No. 4 Florida (3-1), contributing 41 assists, nine digs and a service ace.
• Logged her second-career double-double with 42 assists and 10 digs in a 3-1 loss to UCF.
• Posted a career-high four service aces and a .500 hitting percentage to lead the Trojans to a 3-0 sweep of Louisville.
• This is Lazaro’s second-consecutive freshman of the week honor and the 16th all-time rookie honor for USC.
