Moscow Celebrates 10th Season Hosting An FIVB Event

This year’s Moscow World Tour event is now the 10th straight year that the competition has arrived in the Russian capital.

The technical delegate, Oguz Degirmenci, at the tournament is excited about the new FIVB star system, as it gives smaller tournaments the opportunity to host an event. Without the new star system, many of the smaller tournaments that can’t afford the larger scale payouts wouldn’t happen. Degirmenci explained that the new system will help to create more and more tournaments over time.
