Nebraska beach swept Missouri Baptist 5-0 in the teams 2017 opening match up, with no pairs dropping a set.
Of the five pairs that scores counted, no one was able to get above 14 points on any of the duos, with the #1 squad of Justine Wong-Orantes and Andie Malloy holding their opponents to scores of 21-10 and 21-8.
Concordia Irvine took down CSUN in a 4-1 decision, with the only match to be dropped was in the #3 position in a tight three set match 21-12, 24-26, 13-15. In the third match up of the day, Sacramento State squeaked by Santa Clara in a 3-2 decision. The teams wins came from the #1, #2 and #5 duos.
