The second half of the Big Ten slate is in full swing inside St. John Arena when Michigan comes to town for a 1 p.m. ET clash with Ohio State on Sunday. A national stage has been set for this B1G battle, which will be broadcast live on ESPNU. Tiffany Greene will handle the play-by-play duties alongside analyst Missy Whittemore.

PARKING
Event parking will be available in the North French Field House lot. Overflow parking is available for an hourly rate in the Lane Avenue Garage at the corner of Lane Avenue and Tuttle Park Place. Please note that traffic could be heavy due to the Ohio State 4 Miler race occurring on campus, so please allow extra time to get to St. John Arena on Sunday. Please note the South French Field House lot will NOT be accessible until approximately 1 p.m. due to road closures for the Ohio State 4 Miler race.
HISTORY WITH THE WOLVERINES
The Buckeyes own a 50-25 advantage in the series with Michigan, dating back to 1974. Although Ohio State is ahead in the all-time series, the Wolverines have won the last three meetings. Sunday’souting will be the second time this season the two teams have come face-to-face. The Buckeyes were bested in four sets (25-15, 25-20, 22-25, 25-22) back on Sept. 29 when they traveled to Ann Arbor.
BUCKEYES IN THE B1G
Hannah Gruensfelder bumped her average to 4.84 digs per set, which is good for the top spot in the league. Taylor Hughes is also representing the Buckeyes with 10.17 assists per set (11th) while Lauren Witte averages 1.07 blocks per set (10th) and has a .347 hitting percentage (13th). As a team, Ohio State stands fourth in digs per set (15.33).
SCOUTING MICHIGAN
The Wolverines are looking to snap a two-match skid after falling to Michigan State, 3-1, on Wednesday night. The squad is paced by Carly Skjodt, who ranks seventh in the conference with 3.53 kills per set.
HUGHES CLOSING IN ON 3,000
Junior setter Taylor Hughes currently ranks eighth in program history with 2,953 assists. Her 43 helpers at Michigan (Sept. 29) got her ahead of Amanda Peterson (‘09- ’12), who has 2,755 assists.
WENZ THE TIME IS RIGHT
For the last four matches, senior outside hitter Ashley Wenz has led the Buckeyes in kills, including a career-high 18 daggers vs. Rutgers on Oct. 7. During the quartet, Wenz is averaging 4.50 kills per set.
CARLSTON APPROACHING 400 WINS
Head coach Geoff Carlston has been in charge of three programs during his 18-year career, having spent the last 10 seasons at the helm for Ohio State. Carlston’s amassed 397 career wins and is on track to check off No. 400 this season.
