For the fifth time in the history of the NCAA Men’s National Collegiate Volleyball Championships, Ohio State will take on the hosting duties at St. John Arena.
The event is welcoming in six of the best teams in the nation:
- #1 Ohio State
- #2 Long Beach State
- #3 BYU
- #4 Hawaii
- #5 Penn State
- #6 Barton
The opening round of the competition begins on May second with the #3-#6 seed facing off against each other. Ohio State and Long Beach State each have a first round bye with the top two seed in the tournament.
Tuesday, May 2 | Opening Round
- 6 PM ET – #3 BYU vs. #6 Barton
- 8 PM ET – #4 Hawaii vs. #5 Penn State
Thursday, May 3 | Semifinals
- 6 PM ET – #2 Long Beach State vs. BYU/Barton winner
- 8 PM ET – #1 Ohio State vs. Hawaii/Penn State winner
Saturday, May 6 | Finals
- 7 PM ET – Semifinal winners
Opening round tickets will be $8 for adults and $5 for youth. For all-session passes to the semifinals and finals it will be $25 for adults, $15 for youths and $8 for groups of ten or more people. Single session tickets will be $15 for adults, $10 for youths and $5 for groups of over 10 people.
You can only obtain the group ticket rate in advance by calling the Ohio State Ticket Sales office at 1-800-GOBUCKS.
If you are an Ohio State student with a valid BuckID you will have free admission to all sessions in which Ohio State is competing.
Before the finals on Saturday, there will be a fan fest event held in the OSU Ice Rink, located next door to St. Johns Arena. There fans will be able to attend for free, have their face painted, make signs, the court will be open to pepper and have autograph sessions (5-5:30 PM general public, 4:30-5 PM group sales).
The Buckeyes are looking to defend their National title on their home court.
