It was an exciting Sunday in the Pac-12, as Utah, Arizona and Arizona State played their way to upset victories. 9th-ranked USC and 22nd-ranked Washington State also collected wins to round out the conference weekend.

After dropping a 3-0 match on the road to 2nd-ranked Stanford, 9th-ranked USC bested California in 4 sets in Berkeley, Calif. It was a hotly contested match, but the Trojans prevailed with a .278 attack percentage to the Golden Bears’ .232.

Each team notched 11 blocks, while USC held a slight edge in service aces (4 to 3).

Utah, which received votes in this week’s VolleyMob power rankings, upset 13th-ranked Washington Sunday afternoon in Seattle, Wash. The Utes edged the Huskies in attack percentage (.284 to .236), blocks (11 to 10) and service aces (7 to 6) to earn their first ranked win of the 2018 season.

It is the first win for Arizona State against Oregon since 2014 and puts a stop to a 6-match skid in the all-time series.
