Class of 2019 recruit Sedona Sherman has committed to the University of Pacific for both indoor and beach volleyball. A 6’3″ middle blocker from Arizona, Sherman is a junior in high school who will start up indoors for the fall of 2019 season with the spring 2020 season representing her first in the sand.
An attendee of Millennium High School in Goodyear, Arizona, Sherman helped her team to a 32-10 season that included a 9-1 district mark and an appearance in the Conference 6A Quarterfinals.
Individually indoors, Sherman logged 123 kills (1.2 per set), 107 blocks (1.0 per set) and 59 digs (0.6 per set) as a junior in her second year of varsity according to her MaxPreps profile.
She now plays with Arizona Storm Volleyball and the Arizona Storm 17 Thunder team after she spent some time with Aspire Volleyball Club.
Indoors, Pacific finished 2017 with a 17-14 record and an 11-7 mark playing in the West Coast Conference (WCC). They also made the postseason NIVC Tournament, winning one match and advancing to the round of 16. Meanwhile, the beach season is just underway for the Tigers, who currently sit at 2-2 on the year.
